Welcome to Extended Reality @ Berkeley.
We seek to foster an inclusive and diverse community of Berkeley students, industry, and academia to increase public awareness of virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR).
We provide developer resources and training, and promote dialogue about the impact and implications of immersive computing. Our members receive training in cutting edge technology, develop on the newest VR platforms, and explore the intersection of physical and virtual space.
Fall'25 applications are currently open.
We will be holding 2 infosessions where you can learn more about our club and chat with our members:
Infosession 1: 9/4 (Thu) 5:00-6:30pm @ Stephens Hall 230C
Infosession 2: 9/16 (Tue) 7:00-8:30pm @ Stephens Hall 230C
More information can also be found on our application forms:
Applications deadlines are extended and are due 11:59 PM PST on Sunday, 9/21.
A note on DeCal for FA25: While we won't be offering the XR Decal this semester, we're covering the same core content in our biweekly workshops! Also, check out CS294-137: Introduction to Virtual Reality and Immersive Computing (taught by Professor Allen Yang). It's the graduate-level version of our decal and is open to undergraduates this semester!
